Home Minister Balkrishna Khan has said that the government is committed to provide necessary training for a competent police organization. He said this while addressing the police inspector basic training seminar on Sunday. Home Minister Khan expressed his belief that the sweat shed during the training will help in solving the problems that will arise in the country in the future.
He expressed his belief that through the skills learned in the training, he will be successful in making the obstacles encountered during the course of crime control and investigation result-oriented. Home Minister Khan also instructed the police organization to be firm for the establishment of a legal state. He directed the police personnel to fully comply with their responsibilities and ensure the rule of law.
Home Minister Khan said that the solution to the new problems created by technology is possible only with resources and tools equipped with technology-friendly police technology, and the government is committed to the management of resources and tools to create an environment conducive to technology-friendly police.
He said, ‘With the sweat you shed during the training, you will be successful in solving every problem and challenge that will appear on the field tomorrow. I hope that through the skills learned in the training, you will be successful in making the obstacles that come up during crime control and investigation into results. The budget has been allocated according to the training needs of the Nepal Police. The Government of Nepal and the Ministry of Home Affairs are positive that the organization needs more new training to develop manpower capable of facing the challenges. I instruct you to be firm for the establishment of a legal state.
He said, “I give instructions to fully comply with my responsibilities and guarantee the rule of law.” New problems created by technology can only be solved by technology-friendly police with resources and tools equipped with technology. The Government of Nepal and the Ministry of Home Affairs have been assisting in the management of resources and tools to create an environment conducive to technology-friendly police. Modernization and technologicalization of the police is a priority of the Nepal government.
Home Minister Khan expressed his belief that the government will support the Nepal Police for every program that will be able to solve the various challenges that will come in the future.
